WE ARE ETERNAL

“Let us prepare our minds as if we’d come to the very end of life. Let us postpone nothing. Let us balance life’s books each day.  …The one who puts the finishing touches on their life each day is never short of time.”  —  Seneca the Younger  Death is an event in the distant future, until accidents, sickness or the loss of someone close. A reminder that you are not immortal — the idea of  “ Memento Mori”.  Shouldn’t we rather focus on the idea of  “ Carpe diem” ? Death doesn’t make life meaningless, but rather meaningful. Thought that gives a sense of urgency, puts things on perspective. Let’s you focus on what is important, instead of wasting time on unnecessary things.
